We would like to introduce our summer 2021 Color Guard Director, Brandon Crosno! We asked Brandon a few questions so he could tell us a little bit about himself and his plans for the Guard this season!

What's your hometown? "New Brighton, MN"

(He marched with the Irondale Color Guard in his school days)

What do you like to do in your spare time? "I love to travel and experience a wide range of cultures the country has to offer."

How long have you been involved with the Color Guard activity? "Roughly 11 years." (High school, North Star Circuit, Winter Guard International, and Drum Corp International)

Why did you choose to work with the 728 Cadets this summer? " I chose to work with the 728 Cadets because I really admire the drive the students have to further their education in the performing arts and want to help them achieve the highest level of performance!"

What are your goals for this summer? " My goals for the Guard this summer is to bring a new perspective of the world of Color Guard and further their knowledge to achieve the highest level of excellence."

How would you teach a brand new person with no experience -vs- someone who has years of experience? " When it comes to learning Color Guard, you always have to start with the basics no matter what. These are building blocks that can never be forgotten. For newer members, I will spend more time with them to ensure that they are doing things the right way, and I will work with more experienced members to teach them new techniques. Once the fundamentals are established, then we start the fun part which is choreography!

Welcome Brandon! We are so excited to see what you bring to our organization this summer!
